BLAKE'S BIO
Blake Rayne is the S.A.G. stage name of Elvis Tribute Artist, Ryan Pelton. The persona was created during pre-production of The Identical in 2012. Pelton, being a huge fan of Batman, picked the name because it sounds like “Bruce Wayne”.
Blake is a singer/songwriter and actor. His big break came when he was discovered in a Nashville rehearsal studio practicing with his band. Producer, Yochanan Marcellino found him there, and over the course of the next year, helped Blake transform from a stage singer to an actor.
The meeting with Marcellino landed Rayne the lead role in the movie, The Identical, which also stars Ray Liotta, Ashley Judd, Seth Green, and Joey Pants. The movie was released in the U.S. on September 5, 2014. It is currently available on DVD and Blu-ray, and is a top ten rental on Netflix.
Blake continues to audition for television and movie roles, and it hopeful that the next great role will come his way. When asked what he thinks of being an actor, Rayne always points out, “It’s the hardest thing I have ever done… I love the craft, the creativity, the dedication, the work that it takes… I hope to find myself in that ‘space’ again.”
Rayne continues to work as an Elvis Tribute Artist under his real name, Ryan Pelton. Blake is currently working on his next original album and hopes to have it release by early 2016.
